Use it as a guide—not a rulebook.

C – Calm (Hydrate + Pause)

Before anything else: drink water. Your brain needs it after sleep. No emails. No scrolling. Give yourself a full minute of silence and a full glass of agua.

L – Learn (Input Something Real)

Skim a short parenting insight. Watch a YouTube video to learn something new. One page from a bookmarked book. Nothing deep—just something intentional to feed your mindset before the day pulls at you.

E – Energy (Move a Little)

Stretch. Walk to the end of the block. Ten slow squats while the coffee brews. You’re just signaling to your body: “We’re up. We’re here.”

(I’ll admit, this would be toughest for me. I’m all about my coffee and binge learning on YouTube in the mornings.)

A – Aim (Set a 1-Line Intention)

Say it out loud or write it somewhere visible:

“Today I’ll respond instead of react.”
“Today I’ll make eye contact before I give a command.”

One small aim. That’s it.
